Aunt Kate: Bless her dear heart. I cut her hair from the time I was tall
enough to stand on a kitchen stool. When we were leaving for Ariz, she had us
for dinner at Gram's house; she had to FIND material to keep the wood stove
burning, and yes, she used a pair of shoes for heat. I never remember a
meatloaf without thinking of that and how delicious it was.
