hear an old Gillette commercial and I'm right back in that room

Grandma making sugar cookies
the bug sprayer and the smell of the bug spray
the sickle - I still have a scar !

playing in the "crick"
walking to the mailbox

the piano and lots of singing
chickens hanging from the clothesline to drain the blood
plucking out pin feathers from the dead chickens (better than trying to pluck live ones !)
